We Celebrated 10 Years as a
Rotary Club in 2023!

The Rotary Club of New Farm was Chartered 4 January 2013 and the celebration was 16 February, 2013 at the Queensland Cricketers Club. Ten years on RNF celebrated its Anniversary in March 2023 with 50 Charter members, current members, District 9620 officers and ‘Friends of Rotary New Farm’.

It is amazing what we can accomplish when hearts and minds work together. See how our members and friends from diverse countries, cultures, and occupations are taking action to enhance health, empower youth, promote peace, and improve their communities.

Today we shine a light on someone who keeps our club steady and supported. Lucia has served as our treasurer for six years, bringing accuracy, calm and care to everything she touches.

She is an exceptional bookkeeper, generous with her time and always ready to help wherever she can. More than that, she is a wonderful human who gives so much to our club without hesitation.

Lucia, we appreciate you and all that you bring to Rotary New Farm. Thank you for your steady hand, your patience and the kindness you show our members each day.

At Rotary New Farm, we’re proudly spreading awareness through our Purple Pinky initiative, a simple yet powerful way to show support for the fight to end polio.
When a child receives the polio vaccine, their pinky finger is marked with purple ink: a sign they’re protected from this life-threatening disease.

By painting our pinkies purple, we’re standing in solidarity with children around the world and raising awareness for the ongoing mission to eliminate polio completely. 🌍✨
It’s amazing how something as small as a purple nail can carry such a big message: hope, protection, and progress.
Together, we can create a world where no child is affected by polio.
