PRIDE OF WORKMANSHIP AWARDS

To employers in the New Farm/Teneriffe area…..

‘Let the Rotary Club of New Farm join with you and the community to acknowledge the outstanding service of one of your employees’
This is an invitation from the Rotary Club of New Farm for you to participate in our “Pride of Workmanship” Award Program. We invite you to nominate one of your employees who you consider would be a worthy recipient of an Award.
We believe “Pride of Workmanship” is one of the greatest assets to our community. Pride of Workmanship inspires an attitude of pride in personal performance in the workplace and it promotes a sense of responsibility to do a job well.
As part of our campaign to encourage the “Pride of Workmanship” theme, Rotary New Farm would like, through employers, to give recognition to employees where it is considered due. This is the purpose of the Award Program, and with your help the theme can be spread amongst your employees and beyond. Your organisation may have the opportunity to be promoted to the community through the Village News, who will publish articles about the Pride of Workmanship Award.
We would like to give you the opportunity to nominate one of your employees, who, in your opinion, is displaying working qualities worthy of such an award. Successful nominees will receive their awards at a Presentation Dinner to be held at Eves on the River, Teneriffe, Wednesday evening 19th March, 2014.
If this award of recognition appeals to you and you would like to nominate one of your employees, please email your interest to me at gotheqldreds@hotmail.com or mail it to the address below as soon as practical. The closing date for nominations is Wednesday 26th February, 2014.
A judging panel will preside over the nominations and select the most worthy award recipient. Not all applications will be automatically chosen for an award as recipient numbers are restricted.
The award recipient and their respective partner will receive a free invitation to the Award Dinner. The cost of the dinner for other attendees is $50.00 per person. We ask you to consider sponsoring a table with two additional persons (or more) from your organisation to attend the Award Dinner.
Even if you don’t wish to nominate someone, join with us to encourage “Pride of Workmanship” in our community and recognise and reward the outstanding pride in personal performance and service qualities of your employee.
Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
Kind Regards,
